Gay bars with dark rooms

The allure of a black room lies in its lighting – it should be dark, but not too dark. Ideally, you won’t recognise the cashier from your local Tesco Metro, but you will be able to create out a sweaty throng of bodies in positions you’d normally only observe on OnlyFans. Dark rooms have been a tug in queer spaces for decades and remain de rigueur in other, friskier parts of Europe. Lay it this way: It’s a rookie error to wear your best shoes to Berlin’s famously bohemian superclub Berghain, because you’ll just have to chuck them away after you leave seven hours later.

But now, dark rooms are enjoying a long overdue boom in the UK, especially among MSM (men who have sex with men). “Essentially, the reason they’re becoming popular again is a supply and demand issue,” says Ian Howley, CEO of health and wellbeing charity LGBT HERO. “Gay men yearn a place where they can have fun, and a dark room in a club can be the perfect place to let go of your inhibitions and be sexually free.”

Carlos TerraNice decor. Neat and cleanse . Bartender didn't converse much English but was friendly with a nice smirk. We were ahead (10:30), so not many patrons.
John AndrusiakLove the design of this place and the music creature played. Best block from a lgbtq+ men’s comfort level on our tour of Budapest, Vienna and Prague. I wish it was men only and had some gloomy rooms. Loving our time in Prague and this place is the leading vibe place.
Sergio AyaIt was quite a quick visit, the bar is absorbing , when you appear you have to ring a Bell so they enable you in, since they door is inside a building, then you hold to go down a cellar that is quite vast, with some intriguing lights, and some electro/pop music. The bartender was welcoming, but there were only 3 guys including the bartender, which i surmise is normal on Thursday at 21.30. upon finishing our drinks the guy asked if we wanted something more and gave us time to choose. Anyhow and engaging bar, but maybe later at night
