This past summer, while I was taking hour to travel and visit friends all across the region, I ended up in San Diego for Pride weekend. While I was there, I saw San Diego’s unbelievable Pride Parade for the first day ever, had loads of fun partying in the San Diego Zoo slow at night, was able to observe Kesha perform at Balboa Park, and most importantly I was swept up into an intense and passionate adoration with a male child which led to me changing my plans and calling SoCal home for a few months. Our tryst ended as heavily and passionately as it began, and I shortly made my way to Key West to initiate my new adventures here.
Though my time with this boy reaffirmed my belief that every moment can be beautiful, and you should never halt letting your breath be taken away by the nature around you. We went on many adventures in the short time we were together, and I’ll never dismiss the moments that we shared.

Located in La Jolla (north of Downtown San Diego) Look for Broadway Trail in Torry Pines. Track located left side of Glider port office. At bottom of trail, turn right (north) and about 10-15 minutes you'll look all the homos.

I don’t really hold a bucket list to speak of, but there are a few things that I hold never done that I still need to do, such as travel south of the Equator. I suppose I had better insert that list in some sort of order, so I can start checking them off, but at least today I took look after of one item that had been on my list of things to do for quite a while. I visited Black’s Beach, the largest clothing-optional beach in North America.
I’ve always been comfortable with nudity in the firm of others, although I had never experienced it in a social setting beyond the warm tub at a backyard Halloween party. When I went to high academy, back in the early 80s, showering after gym class was not only mandatory, but it was normal. Our older siblings had to do the same, so it was no huge deal. When I belonged to a gym in the early 90s, the men’s locker room had a huge “wet” area with a sauna, steam room, and jacuzzi, and no one thought anything of it if you walked around naked, and we common those amenities without it being uncomfortable. It was a locker room, so of course we were naked.

It is one of the most beautiful beaches in San Diego County with some unique features you really don’t obtain anywhere else in the United States. Black’s Beach is located between La Jolla Shores Beach and the Torrey Pines Express Natural Reserve.
Black’s Beach has what I consider the most breathtaking views in San Diego, overhead fun (more on that later), great swimming, and a fun atmosphere.
