'House of the Dragon' star Fabien Frankel says Matt Smith is 'damn sexy' as Daemon Targaryen: 'He's the sexiest I've ever seen him'
"House of the Dragon" star Fabien Frankel said he thinks his costar Matt Smith is "damn sexy" as fan favorite ethics Daemon Targaryen.
Since the show has aired, fans have venerated Smith's charisma and charm as the dragon-riding, rebel prince in the series.
Frankel appeared to also be a member of the Matt Smith fan club in a brand-new interview with the Times of London.
"Matt's damn sexy in this show, he's the sexiest I've ever seen him," Frankel said.
Frankel also discussed the tournament scenes in episode one, where his character, Ser Criston Cole, first comes to blows with Daemon. Frankel said that after the scene, Smith suggested that there may be underlying feelings between the two characters.
Frankel recalled: "We had a blast shooting those scenes. We really liked each other a lot. I think of Matt saying, 'Maybe they're flirting, Criston and Daemon.' It's funny because I thought that in private but I didn't want to say anything in case it felt controversial."

Rising star Fabien Frankel has opened up about how crew had to hand-feed him on the set of HBO's House of the Dragon.
Frankel, 28, plays the controversial Ser Criston Cole, knight of the Kingsguard, in the Game of Thrones spin-off.
In his role as the knight, Frankel had to don heavy armor and was not allowed to take off the rigid body plate while on set.
"It's quite heavy, I mean it got less heavy as time went on," the actor told Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Illustrate Starring Jimmy Fallon.
"You had a breastplate, which protects your neck and top of your chest, but you couldn't remove it."
Frankel described sitting like a "zombie" when he wasn't filming. It was so restricting he couldn't even feed himself.
"I had to sit like a zombie and have people feed like I was sick," he said.
Fallon then shared a behind-the-scenes photo of Frankel awkwardly snoozing in a chair between takes.
The photo was snapped by his co-star Milly Alcock, who plays the new Rhaenyra Targaryen.
"I'm a really unsightly sleeper," he joked, before exposing he had no idea he'd been snapped "until she [Alcock] put it on social media."
