Just got back from seeing "Belle" and am hopelessly in lust with Sam Reid. I didn't realize it was the same guy from "Anonymous" and "The Railway Man" -- but, omg, he's so unbelievably gorgeous. And that voice! I was pretty much a puddle of goo by the time movie was over.

Wonderful, r1. I loved it; Amma Asante is a promising director, and it's an opulent movie (I wouldn't be shocked if it's Oscar nominated for Costume Design), but the real glory belongs to the script and the cast -- this is one of those rare screenplays where there's a bounty of complex themes going on throughout the film, with every character given rich depth, and the cast responds marvelously. Definitely one of the best films I've seen so far this year.
