Steven universe is gay
Again, this is a lot of back-story but go with me here. Pearl and Rose fought in a war together and Pearl was Rose’s solider. Pearl would execute anything for Rose, after she liberated Pearl from the constraints of Gem society. Pearl’s devotion to Rose was so intense the two entered into a romantic partnership, demonstrated in the episode “We Call To Talk.”
From what I just described, it may sound fairly similar to Ruby and Sapphire, but Pearl and Rose’s relationship takes a heartbreaking spin. While the business has made no bones about Pearl being a queer woman , the way she rebuffs any male advance is a clear indicator of that, Rose is portrayed somewhere along the bi or pansexual spectrum. Rose has a lot of love to give and in the episode “Mr. Greg” it’s revealed Rose had many men come into her life. Pearl thought Rose would eventually choose her in the close, but she ended up with Greg Universe, Steven’s eventual father.
This completely destroyed Pearl; especially after Rose sacrificed herself to allow Steven to be born. Over the course of the series, we slowly spot her come to terms with her undying love for Rose, eventually culminating in the tune ‘It’s Ove
Yes, Steven Existence IS Gay
So I've heard a lot of people who like Steven Universe say that no gems in the show symbolize the LGBT collective because the gems don't have a gender, and therefore cannot be lesbians. While this is technically true, they're missing the point.
Obviously LGBT representation in the show IS intended. While their species is genderless, Ruby and Sapphire are a woman-loving woman couple in Ground terms (not to mention Pearl), and that IS the show's intent. It baffles me that some people can think gay inclusion in a kids' show is so wrong that they can convince themselves it's not there at all.
I comprehend this was really short, but it just bugs me when people disallow this. In final word, Steven Universe DOES contain LGBT voice, which is superb . I really desire more cartoons pursue in its footsteps. Thanks for reading!

I think it's good they are giving a voice to the dyke community. I deliberate there is nothing wrong or weird with being queer , lesbian,bisexual, straight, or otherwise.
