Paris Hilton has admitted she questioned her sexuality in her 20s after being 'terrified' by anything sexual

Parish Hilton has revealed she questioned whether she was asexual for a number of years before meeting her husband Carter Reum.


The existence TV star, 42, opened up on her thoughts in a recent interview, saying anything sexual "terrified" her during her 20s, despite her reputation.


The hotel heiress was often linked with other big names in the industry before meeting Carter in 2019. Among those she was rumoured to have distributed a connection with included Leonardo DiCaprio, Nick Carter and Adrian Grenier.


She has also been engaged four other times, with the last being to Chris Zylka after the actor from The One popped the question in January 2018.

However, she's now opened up on her past thoughts. Speaking with Harper's Bazaar, she said: "I was famous as a sex symbol, but anything sexual terrified me. I called myself the ‘kissing

Paris Hilton thought she was asexual for a time in her life. The socialite and former reality TV star, 42, said in a Harper's Bazaar interview published Wednesday: “I was known as a sex symbol, but anything sexual terrified me.” 

Hilton said as a consequence of her awful sexual experiences (including a 2004 sex tape and being groomed by a male teacher when she was young) she had difficulty maintaining boyfriends and was instead known as "the kissing bandit."

However, “it wasn’t until (husband Carter Reum) that I finally am not that way,” she told the outlet with a laugh, “I enjoy hooking up with my husband.” 

Hilton's thinking is not uncommon, experts explain. But fear of sexual intimacy, sexual repression or avoiding sex due to trauma are not the same thing as being asexual.
