Tom Holland Open to Gay ‘Spider-Man,’ Agrees MCU Needs More Than Just ‘Straight White Guys’
Will Peter Parker come out as gay in the Marvel Cinematic Universe? Probably not, considering his blossoming relationship with MJ (Zendaya), but it’s an idea player Tom Holland would whole-heartedly embrace. In a new interview with The Sunday Times, Holland said he’d be unseal to his Marvel superhero coming out as gay and agreed with the overwhelming sentiment that the Marvel Cinematic Universe needs to start getting more inclusive on the LGBTQ front as soon as possible.
“Yeah, of course,” Holland answered when asked if he’d be okay with Spider-Man/Peter Parker being lgbtq+. “I can’t speak about the future of the traits because honestly I don’t know and it’s out of my hands. But I do grasp a lot about the future of Marvel, and they are going to be representing lots of different people in the next few years.”
Holland added, “The world isn’t as simple as a straight pale guy. It doesn’t end there, and these films demand to represent more than one type of person.”

Spider-Man's Andrew Garfield Wants Mary Jane to Be Male
Peter Parker player asks: "Why can't he be gay?"
There's been a lot of buzz going around lately about the role of Mary Jane Watson in the Amazing Spider-Man sequels. But Andrew Garfield recently pitched his own unique plan for the character: What if MJ was a guy?
While speaking with EW.com, the thespian said he recently had a conversation with producer Matt Tolmach about Mary Jane and what he'd like to see. "I was kind of joking, but kind of not joking about MJ," Garfield said. "And I was like, 'What if MJ is a dude?' Why can't we discover that Peter is exploring his sexuality? It's hardly even groundbreaking! So why can't he be gay? Why can't he be into boys?"
Garfield even knows who he'd need to play the part. "I've been obsessed with Michael B. Jordan since The Wire. He's so charismatic and talented. It'd be even better -- we'd have interracial bisexuality!"
Later, EW mentioned Garfield's plan to director Marc Webb, who said, "Michael B. Jordan, I know." When asked if he'd already heard the pitch, Webb reMarvel Reveals Details From the First Gay Spider-Man's Origin Story

Could Spider-Man be Gay or Bisexual?
I…wanted to discuss this topic.
However it is a sensitive one so I feel somewhat wary of doing so. Nevertheless it is a subject discreet to this blog and this blog is after all a place where I can go ahead and give my have opinions.
Which is what I am doing now.
I urge readers to correct me if I have gotten some proof wrong or if I have said something out of line.
Before I begin let me qualify something.
I abhor homophobia.
And sexism.
And racism.
And any generally form of narrow minded prejudice.
I loathe it with every fibre of my being and I get angry when I see people preaching or practicing such forms of prejudice.
So with that being said I… I really disagree with certain fans who’re open to the idea of Spider-Man being gay or attracted to both genders, be it in the mainstream comics or in adaptations of the character.
Please allow me to explain.
What is Spider-Man’s orientation?
Essentially in the original 616 canon which began since 1962 Spider-Man is…well…heterosexual. After 50 years and literally thousands of comic books (and who knows how many stories) he has never once expressed any caring of romantic or
